Our first picture of Turkey Jr!!

As you can see we had our first picture taken of our little turkey today!  The internal ultrasound experience was everything I expected it to be.  Undressing in front of the doctor and Justin, not understanding barely anything of what the doctor was saying, and walking half naked to my little table/chair thing that is in the same room as the desk.  These were all things I had expected (thank goodness).  It was all very interesting… to say the least.  Americans are so modest (me included!), but I think I handled it all quite well.  If you just pretend to know what is going on and act as if you are comfortable, it isn’t so bad.  I almost forgot how awkward it was once I saw the baby!  SO CUTE!  It was amazing to see the heart beating and the hands waving and the legs kicking.  How beautiful.  Justin cried!  Okay, he got a bit choked up with a possible tear.  It was sweet.   I was too aware of my nakedness to really get in the moment.  Maybe next time!  All I know is that I love this baby and it is so exciting to be able to see how real he/she is!
