Visitors are fun!

Our friend Andrea (who moved to Paris the same time we did and lived here for three months) was in Paris for the day and we were able to meet up for a coffee at Place Verte and then she came over to see our apartment.  This picture sucks and Maisie’s head is turned around, but oh well!  You get the point!

So George and Ann (Justin’s parents) got in yesterday!  They flew into Paris on their way home from Uganda and will be here three days!  We are having a great time with them!  It is so great for them to see Maisie and for Maisie to get to know them!  By the way, George isn’t really wearing a necklace for real!  I put that around his neck so that Maisie would maybe take to him a bit better.  She is a bit shy around men for some reason.  But she is definitely starting to have the flirty smiles with “papa George.” 

I just have to say that one thing I love about Paris (and there is definitely more than just one thing) is all the visitors that come through!  It is soooooo fun to see familiar faces every so often!  I love that Paris is one of those places in Europe that most everyone wants to visit and eventually does because it means I get to see friends and family more than if I lived in some little remote European village.

Oh, the picture for today is this one of Justin and Maisie.  We went to Hard Rock Café, where I completely overate.  Ew.  I hate overeating!!!!  So gross and disgusting and nasty and yeah…you know what I mean.  I would have rather overeaten at a delicious French restaurant.  No offense Hard Rock.  Can I just say that Maisie is an amazing baby and I can take that girl anywhere?!?  I mean, loud music, lots of overstimulating televisions and she is perfect.  We really lucked out with this one!!!
