Grandma Ann has funky taste!
Justin’s mom had asked us if she could buy Maisie a new pair of shoes, since Maisie was growing out of her shoes so quickly! We had accepted her generous offer and asked if she would get a pair of white or brown converse for Maisie. If you know my mother in law, she did NOT come back with a boring colored pair of converse, but VERY much her own taste wrapped up in a little pair of converse! Hey, at least she didn’t stray from the converse! I was a bit unsure about them at first, but now that Maisie is wearing them all the time and LOVES them, I think they are pretty cute!!
Thanks Grandma Ann! Here are a couple pictures of Maisie wearing her shoes! They fit her now! A little bit big, but they work!
So you as you can see from the pictures above, the shoes not only make her look cooler, but they also make her run faster! And Alyssa, those are Kate’s old jeans (in the picture with the pink jacket)!!! They fit her and are soooo cute!!! THANKS!!
I’m glad these shoes make her run faster! 🙂 She’s such a cutie and the shoes look terrific, even if I say so myself. I’m glad she’s growing into them because I loved them as soon as I saw them. Sometimes I am a shoe person and cool shoes can energize me, too! I’m happy her little feet are walking the streets of Europe where she is bringing joy to others with her sweet smile and happy personality.
Those jeans are so cute on Maisie! Kate didn’t get to wear them too much because “skinny” jeans don’t work so well on chunky Kate! 🙂
I’m so glad you’re doing better and that you’re keeping your blog. I’ve been having a lot of the same thoughts on the blog/myspace/facebook stuff (as you know from our skype chat!) but I’ve decided to keep it all there, as long as I remember that connecting with people in real life is important too! And I need to tell you about how I recently got in trouble from my myspace-stalking… Anyways! I love you and I hope you have a good day!!!
Ummmm, I happen to LOVE those shoes! I understand the black or brown converse thing (because I often choose things for my kids that I would wear myself), but I recently heard a mom talking about how she thinks toddlers should look like toddlers and not mini adults, because allowing them to dress like an adult can often result in them acting adultlike early on…. I kinda get that in a way. I usually don’t think “kiddie” clothes are the cutest, but I have been looking at stuff with a little different perspective since then. So with all that said, I think you should embrace Maisie’s cute little girlie toddler shoes! They look adorable on her (like most everything else). Okay, gotta go look at Maisie jumping before Eliza goes to bed 🙂
Maisie is a doll!!!
Hey Jen, this is Laura from the home office… I just wanted to say that I read your blog, and enjoy it very much.
Maisie is such an expressive little girl! Can’t imagine where she gets it, Jen?! The shoes and pink outfit are so cute on her. Nice job, Ann :-).
So, we are always living such similar lives, it is so funny. Julia only likes 2 pairs of shoes. Her flashy SILVER flip flops and her “runnin’ runnin’ white shoose!” ( white cons)
So even if her Sunday dress is lacey & pale pink…she is from the ankles down, a FAST tree climber or a 55 year old woman from Florida. Also, the jumping and even the back pack wearing! I can’t believe how fun they are now!
So cute! I love the one where Maisie has her hand in her pocket…”just chillin'” so funny. It made me laugh. Gosh darn it I want to see her!!
