Disneyland, rain or shine!
This last Monday we all went to Disneyland for a day of Disney goodness! Amy and Jason’s good friend let us in for free!! YAY! We had been planning on going on Monday for a while. Even when we found out that a big storm was coming in on Monday, we still decided to keep with our plan! Amy and I went out and bought ridiculous “emergency ponchos” that looked like garbage bags with hoods. They were so fugs. But we ALL wore them. Green for the boys, red for the girls in honor of Christmas. For some reason, I didn’t get a picture though!!
All the kids had so much fun! My niece Avery, who is five, LOVED the roller coasters and would laugh hysterically throughout the whole ride. Because of this, I would call shotgun on riding with her as much as possible. Maisie had fun as well, but really did the typical Maisie thing and just took it all in (no smiles), probably trying to figure out how exactly they got the ride to function the way it did. I thought she would be a bit freaked out on Haunted Mansion or Pirates of the Caribbean, but nope. She loved it.
I personally still love Space Mountain with a passion, think Pirates of the Caribbean is boring now, I no likey Bugs Land, and have a renewed love for Tower of Terror. Good times with the family.
Oh! So it was so crazy windy and rainy in the morning and we all got soaked, but then it dried out by afternoon and we had a rain free, sunny-ish day until we left! It was fabulous!

what fun pictures! the ones with bug eyes of you and amy remind of the eeyore ears picture we have from long ago. too cute about maisie kissing mickey on the nose…i’ll bet even mickey loved that! i’m so glad you had such a fun time and that it cleared up for you.
Whaaaaat!?!? I wanna see the Christmas ponchos (and I wanna be friends with Jason and Amy’s friend)!!!!! CUTE pics, how fun to be at Disneyland with all the Christmas decorations. I love that Maisie kissed Mickey’s nose.
How can you not like bugs life?? Was it the wiggly bugs under your butt? Did it give you an uncomfortable feeling? I love disneyland so much.
Glad you got to enjoy Dland…even though it was raining. And just a side note… Curtis has the same face as Justin every time we ride Buzz Lightyear.
