Picture of July 8th

I completely forgot my camera today when I left the apartment.  I was so annoyed because as soon as I walked outside I knew that I had forgotten it.  Justin and I were on our way to a church event and because  we were the ones that were leading this worship time, I couldn’t go back up and get it!   It was cool because for our monthly worship time we met at Les Halles, which is basically a huge mall in the center of Paris.  We all met in a little outdoor area (sorry for not having a beautiful picture to give you a visual) and Justin gave a little talk about worship and how there are lots of ways to worship, including serving.  Then with the money that we would have normally used to rent the church building, we split up into groups, split up the money and were able to use it however we wanted in order to serve the people of Paris.  We had three groups of people.  There was a lot of buying meals for homeless people, some buying drinks for people who were working outside, and even a movie ticket purchased for a homeless man!   I had every intention of capturing some of this with my camera for you all to see.  Oh well. 

Maisie had greasy hair tonight.  I hadn’t given her a bath in a long time I think.  Oops!  Plus she has been around lots of people who put their greasy metro hands all over her and her hair.  Anyways, she got a bath tonight.  I managed to remember to take a picture of that!
