We love each other
We have a bond. A mother daughter bond. Maisie is my little part of me that I just can’t get enough of. When she was in my womb, we stuck together. Like when Justin and I got in an argument, Maisie was there. When I felt alone, Maisie was there. I am not saying that I depended on her. It is just that it was sort of comforting knowing that a little person was with me all the time. Well, she had no choice really because she was in my womb. Now though, now she has a choice.
It is so precious to me that she knows the difference between other people and me. And she prefers me! How great is that!?! I love it! She now stares at me while I am changing her diaper, which I love. And today when I was feeding her, I caught her staring at me as well! It is so great to be loved! Maisie is a sweet little thing that loves to be cuddled, just like me!
She looks like Justin, but in my opinion, has my personality. Justin and I seriously can’t get enough of her. Justin is a great dad and the best burper of Maisie there could be! It has been super cool getting to know Justin as a dad. He is amazing. Makes me love him even more than I already did, which I didn’t know was possible! Things are good in the Powell family!

So its 1245 am and Carolina and I are up drooling over the pictures of you and MAisie! WE cannot believe how freakin cute she is! And all the cute french hats and clothes dont help it either! We just wanted to say we love you and cant wait to meet that little bundle of joy! Merry Christmas You guys we love you!

I can’t believe how big she is already. Can you please ask her to stop growing until January 24th. Such a cute family.
New babies are amazing, arn’t they? I remember how my son would just gaze at me with all the love he could muster when he was new . . . he still does, but now, before they are running around, you could stare at each other for HOURS! It’s beautiful.
I find it’s easier being a mother than a wife. But that’s just me. I can tell my kids what to do. 😉
