We had a great week at our annual staff conference! Here are a couple highlights (or at least pictures) from the week. I pretty much didn’t think about taking pictures till the last day. That is always how I am. So here are some pictures! You might notice that each picture from that last night of staff conference was taken by me! Go go gadget arm! 🙂
These are two girls I love!! In the middle is Chelsea, whose home Justin and I are staying in in Amsterdam! She however, is off to California for college! 🙁 Then on the right is Katherine! Katherine is one of our best friends who was on the team with us in Paris! Katherine and I always have SO much fun together and laugh at anything and everything we can, especially Justin!!
Sarah! I always look forward to hanging out with Sarah at staff conference because she is so freakin’ encouraging and sweet!!
Justin hanging out with our friends Zach and Richard with their communion wine. 🙂
BOB! Bob lived in Paris as well and he is an amazing guy with an amazing wife and amazing kids!
Greg is Bob’s son and he is like a brother from another mother.
A few girls from the Madrid, Spain team. I had lots of fun talking with Kelly (on the far left) and cutting her hair! She is so in love and getting ready to get married in a couple months!
Only one of the coolest families I have ever met! Laina on the far right is the person whose home we are staying at in Amsterdam!
Hillary is what I call my best friend once a year for one week. We have literally only hung out for a total of three weeks (three staff conferences now), but it seems like we have hung out so much more! Maisie and her little boy Malakai loved playing with each other.
The “older” girls were all so sweet to Maisie! Little babysitters!
Waiting to board the plane to Amsterdam. (It just so happened that we shared a flight with our friends from CAI)!
Maisie was exhausted and passed out at the airport!
Getting a ride from the airport Euro style. I guess my psycho car seat rules went out the window once I get to Europe. Sorry I am a hypocrite Katie!! 🙂
So we are here in Amsterdam with all our crap! We lugged all this stuff from Sacramento to Denver to Vienna, Austria to Sopron, Hungary back to Vienna and then to our final destination (at least for now) Amsterdam! We had five 50 pound bags, four carry ons, and one gate checked stroller.
I think Maisie felt right at home in her little rain covered stroller.
It feels really great to be back in Europe!
I have so many things to say!
1) I envy and miss your go-go gadget arm! If I take my own picture, I end up with 5 chins 🙂
2) I LOVE that Maisie is wearing the nightgown we passed on to her…silly, but makes me smile!
3) I am SO happy that you got to see so many of your old friends.
4) Isn’t one of the “big girls” in that picture my new blog friend Megan’s daughter? WEIRD when blogs collide!!!
5)LOVE Maisie’s vans!!! Holy freakin’ cow she is adorable.
6) How dare you “big girl buckle!” What kind of mother are you? Hee Hee, JUST KIDDING!
7) WOW!!! To that pile of luggage and Maisie’s beautiful eyes!
Okay, that’s all for now! Miss you too stinkin’ much for words! Settle in and keep writing please!
AH, Holland! I miss it so 🙂 Enjoy your time there. Welcome back to Europe!
its good to see all the pics of whats going on over there! I hope life is calming down to “normal” whatever that is?
Thanks for all the great pictures. I especially enjoy the one with all the luggage. Justin has been an amazing packer and organizer. I can see that in my garage! I am so happy for you guys being blessed to return to Europe. I know God has big plans for you and your many talents! We hope to visit sometime next year! Maisie gets more beautiful everyday. I love her so much.
I’m glad to see/hear that you guys made it over there safely!
Ooohh!! So glad that you are guys are safe, sound and happy. I can’t tell you how much I wish we were there with you. Maybe next year? *sigh. Don’t I say that every year??! You look great Jen! And so happy!
Love you oodles!
