We had a really fun time in Paris, seeing our friends, walking around our old neighborhood, and visiting our favorite parts of the city. The last time we were in Paris was last February and it was a very difficult trip for the both of us, so it was sooooo nice to be able to enjoy the city with our old friends without having to deal with any real ISH (issues, in case you have forgotten). There ended up being a bit of drama before we left and I had to take the train by myself (Justin’s flight was cancelled from Barcelona to Amsterdam, so he just met me in Paris). I got a call this evening from Justin who is in Barcelona telling me that his flight was cancelled due to the snow! WHAT!?!? The roads are clear, it is barely snowing anymore! What a completely huge bummer. (I know I just blogged about Dora, but things have turned around) There is just something SO ridiculously exciting about when you get the first good snow of the winter! Don’t you agree??  I laid Maisie down for her nap and came out to the the office/living room to find that HUGE snowflakes were falling from the sky! This seriously made me want to jump up and shout and scream and wave my arms all around. I love snow!!!! It brings back all those fun memories of growing up in Oregon and having school cancelled because of the snow! Maisie is literally obsessed with this silly little DVD I bought her the other day. It’s Dora the Explorer Super Babies! I hate it. Detest it. Despise it. Justin has been out of town, so I’ve been more chill with letting her watch tv. Well, Maisie is obsessed with babies, therefore, obsessed with this movie due to the fact that it has babies in it. Flying babies. Every morning the first thing she says is no longer, “Where daddy?” It is now, “Fly baby!?!” She only wants to watch this movie. She would literally be content watching the Dora baby movie for every waking hour of her day. And even when I put her down for nap or bedtime, she says, “No, baby fly!!!”   So I have decided I hate Dora. I hate swiper no swiping. Hate it all. I don’t think I will ever buy her another Dora…

Sometimes I like to just come out with all the things that I am sometimes embarrassed of or think people will judge me on, just to get it off my chest. Now is one of those times. I think part of me does this to prove to myself that I am not so crazy, while another part of me just wants to be seen as normal, so by sharing what I do on my blog, I hope to make the things I do normal!
