Last week we went on a little mini vacation to Budapest, Hungary. Our annual conference for work was being held in Hungary, so we took advantage and spent a couple days with friends from the organization. We spent 2 1/2 days in Budapest. I was really surprised at how beautiful Budapest is! It is also quite kid friendly! Little parks and little play spaces in restaurants! This is something that is now a plus when traveling with kids! The best part though, were the swimming pools! I remember being excited about swimming pools as a young girl and I guess not much has changed because I really loved spending a good amount of time in the pool every day, but so did the kids! Read MoreToday Cutler went pee pee in the toilet for the first time! He said he wanted to be naked, so I took his diaper off, asked if he needed to go pee pee and he nodded his head yes. So I sat him on the toilet and he pushed and out it came! YAY! I am so proud! I know we are a long way off to being potty trained, but it’s a start! What a big boy!

Read MoreCutler’s been jumping for a while now. He is the most persistent child I have ever seen. He works hard to master whatever it is he is obsessed with for the moment. Right now it is riding on a scooter that is way too big for him and also riding on a little motorcycle that is also way too big for him. He keeps falling, crying, getting a kiss from me, and then getting back on and trying again. He’s such a brave little guy! Here he is jumping!
