We are having a really great time in Colorado with family!  It is amazingly beautiful here!  Enjoy the pix! Sisters! Maisie and Aunt Amy! I am beginning to wonder if I should have been thankful for not understanding the language when I lived in France. I have been a bit surprised at conversations I have overheard, but also in what strangers have said to me. Let me just give you an example of what I am talking about. This morning I went to a little coffee shop and noticed that a woman was watching me as I tried to maneuver the stroller through chairs and tables. Random lady with no social skills: “I don’t think she likes to be jostled around like that.” ME: “Oh, she always has that look on her face.” HER: “So, she always looks p*ssed off?” ME: “Yeah, pretty much.” HER: “Well, she is going to have a lot of wrinkles when she gets older.” Really? Don’t you just wonder what people are thinking sometimes? Who says these things and…

That’s right.  I am not saying goodbye yet because we are coming back in January and besides, this is a place I know we will visit again and again (at least if we are living in Europe somewhere)! We had a really great last day here spending time with friends!  We did stop by the Eiffel tower for a bit, as well as hand over the keys to our apartment.  Here are some pictures from our last day living in Paris.  Don’t miss the video at the end! We have two days left till we leave Paris. Weird!!! I have been asking myself how in the world I am going to fit in everything I love in Paris into two days!! The hard part is that we have had to do so much work on the apartment in order to get our 4,000 euro deposit back! So here I am, sitting on the hardwood floor of our empty apartment. It still feels like home, even without all the furniture. Today we hand over the keys, which is just very strange. Justin and I have cried at every place we have left (all seven in our six years of marriage), knowing that somehow our life will change again. Today as Justin and I were walking down the street, pushing Maisie in her stroller, I said, “I love you Justin and I love that we are always on an adventure.”…

I finally downloaded some pictures to Justin’s computer (mine is still crashed!), so I thought I better show off how freakin’ cute my little nugget is!  This was on our way from Vienna, Austria to Sopron, Hungary!  Maisie and I tortured Jeff the whole time.  It was a blast.  Maisie got her cuddle on with Paula!  We love the Farmers (that is their last name)!  They live in Portugal and they are caaarrrraaazzzy!  Maisie ate a cookie.  Bad, bad mom (and dad). She may just be a drummer like her uncle Nate! Packing is fun!  At least for Maisie.
