Ever since the first comment in high school that my fingers looked funny, I have despised them. I would keep my hand curled up so as not to display the "mushroom" or "alien" shape my fingers took on. I think Justin is the first person that I actually would freely show my fingers to (besides my mom and sister). How ridiculous is this? I was ashamed of something I couldn’t help! I wanted the pretty fingernails that all the other girls had. But God gave me these fingers. The whole finger thing is just one more thing that I had struggled to like about myself. It has been a few years since I have been content with the shape of my fingers. The other day I was inspecting every inch of my precious little Maisie and came across her fingers. Can you guess what I am going to say? Yep,…
Read MoreI really need to write an actual post. Something about my life or something clever or just something!!! I am finding it hard to have the time to do much of anything these days, besides taking care of Crazers. That is just one of the many nicknames we have for Maisie. Nugget and Nuggy are the other two nicknames that are most used. So because I don’t have time to write, I will just show off how stinkin’ cute she is. She really is!!! We are having SO much fun with her and we can’t wait for you (family and friends) to meet her!!! I never wanted to give Maisie a pacifier (for lots of reasons), but as you can see, I have succumbed to the pressure…or maybe just the pleasantness her sleeping quicker in the evenings and not crying so much. The pacifier has saved us on many occasions…

Poor little sensitive skin girl, just like her mom! As you can see though, she looks just like her daddy! This last picture is a fun one that Justin took right around the corner of where we live. We LOVE that stroller!!!! It is the best for city life.
Read MoreJustin and Maisie danced tonight. Maisie loves to be moving. She mostly loves us to hold her and move and we have found that it is more fun if we dance, so often times we will dance with her. Watching a little one month old baby (my baby!) dance with her daddy was really one of the more precious things I have ever seen. Justin held Maisie as if they were doing the waltz, with her little arm out. It was like something you might see in a movie! When Justin looked down at Maisie he found her staring into his face. He looked back up and said with tears in his eyes, "I don’t want to dance with you at a wedding," meaning Maisie’s wedding. Oh Justin is such a softy! He loves his little girl!!! (Oh, if you didn’t "get" my title, I am sort of joking…

Now that we live in more of a neighborhood, we rarely see protests unless we are out. The French will find anything to protest about. This article is a great example of what the French are capable of protesting!
