Read MoreTonight was one of those nights where it sort of just sucks to be a parent. Not because Maisie was a pain in the butt, or because I was feeling selfish (like I often can feel). Tonight sucked because I had no idea how to comfort my little girl. Maisie has been sick for the last few days with a stomach flu so she has been a little more out of sorts than normal. Besides that, we are STILL in transition. We haven’t really had a “home” since she was nine months old. We had some make-shift places we called home for weeks at a time, but never went over two months in the same place. As you can imagine, it is starting to take a toll on our family. I can especially see that in Maisie. I think now that she is two, she is appreciating more of a…
Read MoreI always love my visits to Sacramento because in Sacramento holds some of my bestest friends! Awww, friendship time, there is nothing like it! Friendship time has been so great and I am glad that it is going to keep coming during the rest of our time here and as we head up to Portland and back down to Southern California as well. Yay friends!

After we left southern California, we headed up to Northern California and nine of us (YES, NINE!!!) all stayed in my mom’s two bedroom home in the middle of the woods with only one car. That part was a bit difficult. I don’t like feeling trapped, but at least I…
Read MoreThis last Monday we all went to Disneyland for a day of Disney goodness! Amy and Jason’s good friend let us in for free!! YAY! We had been planning on going on Monday for a while. Even when we found out that a big storm was coming in on Monday, we still decided to keep with our plan! Amy and I went out and bought ridiculous “emergency ponchos” that looked like garbage bags with hoods. They were so fugs. But we ALL wore them. Green for the boys, red for the girls in honor of Christmas. For some reason, I didn’t get a picture though!! All the kids had so much fun! My niece Avery, who is five, LOVED the roller coasters and would laugh hysterically throughout the whole ride. Because of this, I would call shotgun on riding with her as much as possible. Maisie had fun as well,…
