Lazy Workout Thoughts
I have been debating working out since 7pm tonight. I made a few excuses, said I would do it after we watched a movie, said I would do it after my mom went to bed, said I would do it after laundry, and now it is almost 1am. I am still debating the workout. I want to go to bed, but I also want to get in that workout today. But what am I doing instead of working out? Yes, posting on my blog, thinking of excuses not to work out. Wouldn’t a workout energize me right now? And I don’t want that before I go to bed, right? I don’t want to have to shower as well. I already washed my face. I wouldn’t want to have to re-wash it! Plus, I can just work out in the morning. One day off isn’t going to kill me! Well, except…
Read MoreAlways missing someone
I seriously feel like the title of this post could be my life motto. One of the amazing things about traveling and living in so many different places is that we get to meet so many new friends! It is also one of the hardest things about moving and traveling. I always feel like there is someone I miss. Last week I desperately missed Justin. He’s back! YAY!!! Tonight I desperately miss my sister. Her and her kids left today. I had such a fun week with them and am feeling a bit lonely now that she is gone. Every night together we would stay up late and watch a movie or do pilates together or have a dance competition. It was good times. So now I am cleaning and posting on my blog. Not quite as fun as dancing to Justin Timberlake or giggling as we do little pilates…

It has been sunny wonderful here! We have been pretty busy doing fun things with the kids! We have spent the last couple days outside. Today we celebrated Ethan’s birthday early (since we won’t be with him on the day of). It was a surprise for him and it was a lot of fun! Here are some pics and a video (because Justin requested a video specifically of Maisie)! This is right after Ethan and Avery realized we were having a party. When we started singing happy birthday, Avery was so happy and dancing thinking it was her birthday. As you can see, she had just found out that it was a celebration for Ethan. Really, she is a sweet little thing. High drama, just like her mom and aunt!!! Kylie and Ethan! Grandma with her two granddaughters. Maisie enjoying a little In-n-out for lunch. Amy and Ethan…

If you would like to see a day in the life of my family, take a look at this video. It starts out with my niece Avery and one of her little drama tantrums and ends like The Sound of Music (well, sort of). We took this video last night at a baseball game. Good times.

When my parents divorced and my dad moved away, we saw a lot less of my dad’s side of the family. Well, now that I am an adult (yes, I am) I have realized how much family means to me, even if they weren’t really there during all of my childhood. I have a new love and respect for my dad now that I am married and have my own child. My dad’s side of the family is nowhere near perfect, but what family is? I had a lot of fun at my grandma’s 80th birthday party, reuniting with family I hadn’t seen since I was a young girl! Here are some of my favorite pics from the party: Happy Birthday Grandma! Who ever knew she had siblings?!? I met them for the first time at her party. Everybody’s got to have an Uncle Fred! Oh yeah!!!! He is hilarious! …

Justin commented to me today on how I haven’t written on my blog for a while. Well, the truth is, I am having a blog fart. Get it!?!? Like brain fart, but only it is a blog fart?!? Man, I think I am so funny sometimes. I honestly couldn’t wait to type the letters to the name of this title. So, speaking of fart, I had a little family reunion yesterday with my dad’s side of the family. It was actually my grandma’s 80th birthday. It is always an interesting time with that gang! I am going to post pictures of the party as soon as I have time to upload them. Probably tomorrow in between cleaning and packing. Just wanted to let you all know that I am still here. VERY busy these days! Justin is going to Spain for a week and I am going to California. At…
