Maisie’s first real train ride

So I ended up sleeping about ten minutes last night.  For some reason I never am able to sleep the night before we are going to travel.  It didn’t really help that I started packing at 1am and needed to wake up at 4:30am.  EW!  I ended up finally just getting out of bed at 4:20am for the day!  EW!!!!  I hate not getting sleep!

The train ride was long.  Well, four hours to Amsterdam.  Maisie did amazing.  Never cried.  Just let me know when she was hungry or wanted a diaper change.  She was tired as well since she is used to sleeping in along with me, so she was passed out on my chest for a good portion of the ride.  I even slept for about thirty minutes!  I am so thankful we have an easy travel baby!

Here are some pictures from our train ride today!  I believe it is Maisie’s first REAL train ride (she has been on the metro, RER, and buses more times than I could count).

We are having a GREAT time with the Graf’s!  It is always such great community when we are here!  They always have an open home and there are always lots of people over when we visit, which is really fun!  Tonight we sat outside in the backyard chatting over tea and delicious homemade desserts that Laina made, while the guys played poker in the back barn.  It is so nice to be around a family!
