“We’re Girls!”
My sister Amy and her little girl always do funny little girly things and then say in a cute little voice, “We’re girls!” It is actually pretty cute and you probably need to hear it to understand just how cute it is. Well, I have been looking forward to when Maisie and I can do girly things together. I should first say that every morning we already apply our makeup together. Maisie sits on the counter next to where I am getting ready and goes through my makeup, pretending to put it on herself. So cute!
Yesterday I decided to paint my toes. I got out the nail polish and started painting a toenail when Maisie came over and plopped herself next to me. Hmmmm, I wondered if she would sit still long enough to let me paint her toenails. She definitely doesn’t like to get them clipped, but painted could be another story, especially since she is very much into makeup already. So I painted her teeny big toenail and it was a success! I continued on the rest of the nine nails and voila! Pretty little painted nails!
“We’re girls!”
SOOOOOO CUTE!!!! Lexi loves having her toenails polished, and I keep wondering if Eliza is ready for it…I might have to give it a try 🙂 Does Maisie have an owie?
YES! She does have an owie! So sad! She fell and scraped a huge chunk of skin off! Sad! Eliza and nail polish???? Um, you might get more painted than just toenails!!! 🙂 Ha ha! I love her!!!
How fun! This is adorable. You are having fun Jen! We miss you.
I love those sweet piggies! ahhh i wish i had a girl to paint toes with. =)
So, the toes were cute and all…but NOT cutting it for Eliza! Might I be so bold as to ask you to post some new pictures of Maisie…for Liza…and maybe a new video?? I’m not kidding here, we have an addiction in the family. Eliza now takes my hand and leads me to the computer asking for Maisie!!! The older posts (that she has seen 20+ times now) aren’t satisfying…she just tells me “no-no-no-no…more?” She even had to sit on the step in “time out” the other day after a Maisie withdrawl tantrum. Anyway, just askin’…thanks 🙂
