See ya later Paris!

That’s right.  I am not saying goodbye yet because we are coming back in January and besides, this is a place I know we will visit again and again (at least if we are living in Europe somewhere)!

We had a really great last day here spending time with friends!  We did stop by the Eiffel tower for a bit, as well as hand over the keys to our apartment.

Here are some pictures from our last day living in Paris.  Don’t miss the video at the end!

I like to take pictures of myself!  This is on a street close to where we live(d).

Just a little picture of Maisie saying her goodbyes to her first home.

Finally a family picture in front of the Eiffel tower!

A fun shot!

Another family picture… minus Justin, plus Jeff.  For some reason Jeff and I like to take family pictures together.  It is weird and I don’t think Maisie likes it.  By the way…99.9% of the time, Jeff has his eyes closed in pictures and even though I have a great picture with his eyes open, this is what he gets for always deciding to blink as the flash goes off!  Whaa ha haaaaa!!!

Bjorn and Maisie eat Katherine’s Lisa C. purse!

Here are the people we spent the last night in Paris with (minus Christian who came a bit after the picture was taken)!  We love our friends and are going to miss them sooooo much!   I got a bit teary till Bjorn mocked me.  Nice.

I guess my next writings will have to do with reverse culture shock back into the USofA!  I already have a feeling that fake smiles and over excited servers may get to me a bit!  Stay tuned!

And now the video of two beautiful things…the Eiffel tower and little baby goo goo!

Thanks for the last post of life in Paris! Not the last time you’re there, but your life as you’ve known it for two years now… It’s on to your new adventure (and yes, you WILL get tired of the American “fake smile, over excited to serve you”, servers :-). Love you!

I’m sad. I am. I’m excited for you next step, but I’m sad a little too. Can’t wait to see you though.

So, like WHEN are you coming to visit us in Texas? We have smiles aplenty and many an overzealous server. Maisie needs to meet us. She told me so.

What a nice post Jen. Thanks for the cool shots of the ET for me. I can not wait to hear about what you are up too. Think you might make it down south to So. Cal…you know Mickey Mouse????????

Of course you would be able to completely let us step into your shoes as you describe your last day! You guys are great! Hope your trip goes easily and feels quick.
