Ha ha.  I tricked you.  You thought I was going to say that our new arrival is a baby, but it isn’t!  She is still cooking.  But what did arrive today is our internet!  We have internet after a lonely long two months of waiting.  We can finally communicate, whenever our little hearts desire, with our family and friends!  YAY!  I guess everything is going to come all at once for us! So you want an update about the baby?  I will give it to you.  She is as healthy as can be.  I have had two doctors appointments in the last four days where they thoroughly checked and monitored all that could be checked and monitored.  The ultrasound showed her being somewhere around 2.8 kilos (just above six pounds) and we are praying that they are right with how little she is (for obvious reasons that I won’t go…

I went for a walk the other day with Justin.  Well, we pretty much walked around the corner to a restaurant.  As I walked in, I was applauded by the bartender.  I don’t know if it was because I was the hugest pregnant person he had ever seen, or if he could tell I had just accomplished the huge task of walking around the corner with a sciatic nerve problem.  Either way, it felt good.  Tonight Justin and I needed to check our email, so we walked around the corner again (really only about four blocks) to go to a little cafe right by the restaurant we had been the other day.  The walk there was fine.  It took us about 15 minutes to walk there.  I am sloooooooow these days.  As I was getting up to leave, I realized the pain had just tripled what it had been.  I…

Yes, here I am, five days PAST the little princess’ due date.  I can’t believe she is already pulling this princess attitude.  Serves me right.  I can see that she is already following in my footsteps, wanting things her way without the care or concern for other people.  It is true.  I used to be more selfish.  Don’t worry people, she has hope.  I do finally believe the world doesn’t revolve around me.  It was hard to grasp, but I now know the truth. I was really hoping that my next blog post would be pictures of the baby, but oh well.  Instead, you get to hear what I have been up to for the last couple weeks. 1. Still pregnant!  I have ten more days till my due date and getting anxious for her to come!  Justin and I had a fun little time together yesterday, while searching the streets of Paris for raspberry leaf tea, which has been known to help with the delivery of a baby.  Justin had his camera with him, so he took a few pictures of me all pregnant and huge!  I took one of him too.  I gave him a cute new hairdo.  You know he is a hottie!  Here are the pics! So there he is.  My hot husband.  Well, I need to be off drinking my raspberry leaf tea in hopes that it will help along the process!  Pray I don’t go over my due date!!!

Justin is painting the first coat of paint on the crib.  He worked so hard!  We found this super cute crib for only 25 euros used!  It is exactly what we wanted!  Justin sanded it down and painted at least two coats on it.  Took him a while, but it is done now and beautiful!  Here I am painting the baby’s dresser.  Don’t mind my love handle!   Those are not pregnancy pajamas, so they were a bit on the tight side around my tummy!  Yes, I took this picture of myself, pretending not to notice that the picture was being taken!  I’m a dork!  But you get the picture of how round and big the belly is! I love my grey hooded sweatshirt.  I always have.  I found this sweatshirt at a thrift store when I was in college.  Or maybe I was in high school.  It is the most comfortable thing I own.  Justin hates it (but really he loves it) because it has holes in the armpits and the pockets are literally falling off, but I love it.  It also has a weird pointy hood that makes me look like I am part of some racist group, but still, I love it.  I wore it out tonight because it is one of the few articles of clothing that fit over my belly, as I refuse to buy any new clothes for just five more weeks.  Well, on the way home it started raining, and that means, I was able to put my hood on.  In our old neighborhood I would have never dared to wear…

Two nights ago, Justin had a dream that I gave birth to the teeniest little baby.  She was only the size of his hand from head to toe.  In the dream, Justin dropped her and when he picked her up, she was a koala bear.  Interesting, huh?  What makes us have these dreams?  Is it being nervous we aren’t going to be able to take care of our child?  I had a dream last night that I had the baby and had NOTHING for the baby yet, not even my hospital bag was packed.  Well, this is true.  I do have the gifts that I have been given, but no diapers, no bathing things, not even a bed for the baby yet.  My hospital bag isn’t packed, and I haven’t even bought the things needed to go into the bag!  I know this dream was probably for good reason.  Justin…
